The Windows registry is the heart of the operating system. Every installed program, file reference or file format generates a lot of keys in the registry. When the Windows operating system if freshly installed, the registry is compact and has a small size, but as programs are installed, the size of the registry is continuously growing. After selecting the desired defragmentation option and launching the process, the program will analyze the registry and will display in a graphical mode the state of the registry before and after defragmentation.
